June 2026 Update: My Last Chapter In London
Jun 26, 2026
Today I want to share some updates for this month, including my last summer here in London, why is this "last chapter" so important for me, and everything else that has been on my mind lately.
P.S. On Sunday 28th June I issued a newsletter to all subscribers with exclusive announcements and behind-the-scenes content of all my upcoming events, activations, and more. Subscribe today and stay tuned for the next issue!
#1 What do you mean this is your "last chapter in London"?
Starting on September 2026, I'll be enrolling in a new program for business and financial management at Nottingham Trent University while taking part in their tennis performance team.
To be honest I've been wanting to share this news for some time now. I just didn't know where to start. So much has been going on lately. So many things still uncertain. So many things yet to be revealed.
And yet this has also been one of the most exciting years I've had so far. This month in particular, I've been planning a series of private events during the summer to celebrate my time in London before going on campus this autumn. All my guys jumped on the idea right away and got started in preparing the guestlist.
This will be the first and probably the only event that I'll be hosting in London this year -- every moment needs to count.
#2 Why is this "last chapter" important?
I decided to keep this last summer in London simple and more intentional than usual -- catching up with friends and bringing a few of our close contacts together in one private apartment. I wanted something that breathes excitement, nostalgia, and the feeling that the days are still young.
The entry for this event is limited to 20-25 slots which allows us to preserve the ambiance. Anything above that starts to get too rowdy and sporadic (especially when all your friends grew up with a summer bloc party culture lol) You can imagine what 30 Caribbeans can do in a room once they've had too much to drink...
This summer is also giving me more time to think about the big picture -- where I want to be in the coming months and years. For some reason, I can see myself taking things slower and more protective about my well-being. I can feel the pull to take a step back, connect with your thoughts, and embrace the fact that you're here doing what feels right for you.
#3 What is your top story for this month?
Last week my good friend Gareth and I took a trip to Southend-On-Sea for the first time in 4-5 years since the days we posted Youtube videos together.
The smell of seawater mixed with aloe vera perfumed the air. A group of girls meeting together for the first time in what looked like years. Children racing across the street to see who can reach the shore first. A guy riding on his bike while playing Afrobeats at full blast. Couples leaving the shopping centre full of bags and items. Shirtless guys gathering at a pub to watch the Fifa World Cup. Families making their way to the sandy beach. The clear blue sky glittering the ocean.
Over the last few years we noticed that there has been a migration of people from London to Southend, quickly becoming a growing leisure centre across the South-East coast. Many were using their time to post viral Tiktoks at the beach. Others came in with their vans or trucks to sell African and Caribbean staples.
Gareth and I took this opportunity as a sign for us to get a few last-minute hookups for the upcoming summer party event in London. It's always so tempting -- especially for Gareth -- to dedicate every single hour to do this. After all, it's in our nature to be open-minded and liberal towards everyone.
But that day we were walking on a tight schedule, especially with trains getting delayed. When we finally got on the train, we still had a lot to catch up -- conversations about money, family time, private equity, spirituality, and the rest.
For a brief moment we see the moon starting to take shape in the sky. We paused our conversation until Gareth made an interesting observation:
"You know that's the same moon that Napoleon once looked at? Alexandar The Great. Julius Cezar. Marcus Aurelius. It's the same moon that William Shakespare use to see in his walks."
It was a subtle comment that carried a lot of weight.
Sometimes moments like these can last forever in my subconsciousness compared to the fleeting pleasures we often chase. Once these moments are revelled to you, it can be hard to go back to your old pace.
These are the moments that help me pause, reflect, and see the world anew.
#4 Anything else on your mind lately?
There's a few other things that have been on my mind lately. DJ Tunez, DJ Maphorisa, and Wizkid's featured song "MONEY CONSTANT" has been on my playlist on repeat. I can't get enough of it (It also helps that this song has been trending in every club, party, and internet post that I see).
I've also been rereading some old books that all my friends know me for. The Laws of Human Nature by Robert Green is one of the only books I come back to every once in a while -- and this time I came prepared with a note-card system to help me apply everything I read.
And oh yeah I can't forget about the new people I met this month. Shout out to Aliyah for ignoring my text invitation to the party (lol). Shout out to Dora and her friends for spending some time with us at Southend.
